I · Biography

A child of the world

Argentine-American soprano Camila Lima has performed in Europe, Argentina and the United States, in venues such as the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and Carnegie Hall.

Ms. Lima has starred in beloved operas such as Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette and Verdi’s La Traviata; in contemporary works including the world premiere of Juan Colomer’s Dulcinea XL at Zipper Hall, Los Angeles; and at popular venues such as the Día de los Muertos Festival at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

She was thrice winner of the Beverly Hills National Audition and alternate First Prize winner of the New York Lyric Opera Competition.

As a child of the world herself, Camila sings from Rachmaninoff to Gardel with a heart that draws tears and many sighs from her audience. She currently lives in Burbank and performs alongside pianist and film composer Ruy Folguera.
